Business Development Scout

Koev Brothers is seeking a Business Development Scout. This is a remote, project, objective-oriented, non-salaried position. Compensation is success-based and uncapped, depending on the skill-level and dedication of the Scout to accomplish company objectives. The main duty is originating new business opportunities. There are two tracks, Deals and Investments. For Deals, the Scout must have already developed a pipeline of companies seeking capital. For Investments, the Scout must have already built a network of accredited investors. The Scout has to be a team player, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Based in Greater Washington DC, Koev Brothers is a private investor group that invests in top performing early and later stage private operating companies. Geographic focus on the Americas and Europe. Expertise in private equity, bridge and long-term loans, capital introductions and turnarounds. Koev Brothers has high quality, proprietary deal flow and provides specialized consulting for institutional investors. The firm is a big supporter of military veteran entrepreneurship.

Initially starting out:

  • The Scout will be an Independent Contractor
  • This position is 100% performance based with an opportunity for growth
  • There is no salary, monthly retainers or benefits

The Scout will work directly for the Co-Founders, Managers of the firm, and will contribute to the deal-making process. The Scout will have the highest sense of integrity and work ethic. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Developing relationships with high-net-worth individuals (Investments track)
  • Sourcing companies seeking business funding (Deals track)
  • Exceptional relationship building, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capabilities
  • Preparing for and accomplishing strategic business objectives
  • Completing project deliverables on time at highest level of quality

The Scout shall possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong sense of ethics, integrity and attention to detail
  • Substantial personal or professional relationships with accredited investors (NON-INSTITUTIONAL, individuals only): (Required – Investment track)
  • Pipeline of firms seeking venture capital or commercial loans: (Required – Deals track)
  • Previous relevant professional experience (Preferred)
  • Superb analytical, client relationship and business development skills
  • Internally motivated, results-oriented, coachable
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and on a fast-paced team
